So I recently bought a piece of yellow polyp coral( sorry don't know real name ) and I had it in a bucket for maybe an hour and the water was a little cold by then and it has yet to open up. I also got a toadstool and kenya tree and mushrooms that are doing fine..

You bought 100 polyps? Holy cow. When did you put ten in there?

Yep, patience is a virtue. :)

FWIW, I added several corals roughly 3 weeks ago. One opened right away, and the rest took between 3 - 8 days except my blushing finger leather and button polyps which are still not fully opened. They're still alive and making progress, but just not there yet.
