Alright, so I just got a new T5/HQI lighting fixture off craigslist. My old T5 fisture went plunging into my display tank when one of the supports gave out so i had to act quick and get a new one so I got an Odyssea 48" T5/HQI, but one of the HQI sockets is cracked. I have a new socket to replace it, but don't know exactly how I can get to it to unhook it. The end cap can be taken off, which I did, but I still don't really know how to get to it and replace it.

Here is a link to the fixture, Wholesale odyssea Black Color 48" Metal Halide HQI+ T5 408W Fish Tank Aquarium Lighting Fixtures

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Nothing?

I have an idea. I can cut the wire off just outside the reflector and then connect my new socket to the exposed wire. But then I have no way of fastening the new socket back to the fixture since it used a machine screw and a nut on the inside of the fixture.... any ideas?
