I would wait it out right now, any further change will only prolong the cloudiness. It could be from a sudden increase in PH or alk. What do you mean by "lime mix?" What are you parameters?

now was the lime water just cloudy and that clouded your tank, or did the tank become cloudy later?
what are you parameters amon, nitrate, nitrite, calcium, alk

guitar i think he means kalkwasser mixture

Something similar happened to me when I first started my sump. I used fresh salt water in the sump and when that entered the tank it became cloudy, not really cloudy, but you could definitely tell something was up. I finally narrowed it down to the water in the sump. I either didn't let it mix long enough or it was significantly different from the tank water. It took about a week or so to settle down when all was said and done. I lost some corals and 3 chromis. I did a water change immediately, but that did nothing. I would just wait it out, if you do a water change now, you may just prolong it or make it worse.

You added calcium and alkalinity supplementation at the same time. You should avoid doing this.

Two part solutions are packaged in separate bottles simply because the contents can't be mixed without precipitation. If both are added to tank water at the same time in sufficient amounts, you'll experience precipitation of the carbonate into the water column.

I've done this myself. I tried to raise my calcium and alkalinity too much in one day, and wound up adding more of each solution than my water could handle. I created a haze on my glass that took weeks to remove. Hopefully yours won't be that bad.

Hate to disagree with the others, but I think if you change some water now, you'll at least dilute the problem. Just make sure the newly mixed saltwater has a salinity to match your tank. I wouldn't change more then 20% or so.

I feel for ya, man. Been there, done that!
    Good luck!! :)

Don't worry about it, you may be right. Your theory sounds reasonable. The only thing I would add is that if is precipitate, it can start a chain reaction that ends up with a tank crash. Your ph starts to get messed up, then the sudden swings in Ca and Alk. cause more precipitate. Ca, Alk and Mg need to be in balance. High levels of Mg help to maintain higher concentrations of Ca and Alk without them precipitating. As one parameter nose dives, the other try to balance. Not sure if this info will help much.

if it is a "snow storm" you just have to wait it out. Once everything is precipitated out then you can do a change
