Need Help Wiring MH lights!!

Need help with wiring.


I got a MH system, and I needed a cord for it. I got the cord today (goes from the balast to the light fixtures).

I'm not sure how to wire this thing, the line that goes from the balast has three wires. Six in all. Three for each bulb.

I understand that AC has no polarity, but do these wires have any specific terminal ont he bulb to connect to?

The socket has two wires, is the third from the balast some kind of ground or for a switch? I will add pics later if needed. I'm at work right now and wondering about this set up and getting it right.

What colors are the wires coming from the ballast and the wires from the bulb socket? That could help us.

Each socket gets one Black and White lead.

The green leads are grounds. Mount to the backside of the reflector or to the base mount of the socket.


Did the pigtail come with labels for Fixture 1 and 2? Some way to know which black and white wires are a set?

 

NOPE @ sent schematics.

I gotta take a look when i get home and give pics and deets. It got real busy here all of a sudden. Damn blizzard side effects now kicking in

The coloring is completely different then the one on my fixture. I sent in a tech support request to get the pinout. Hopefully, they will get back.

 

I opened the ballast and found the grounds.

Green and yellow (i think, i'm colorblind) are connected to the casing.
