need help with a powerhead

    well yes ive looked at the K Nano but it does not give a wave function. I want a rotating one not manual rotate

    I figured that was where you were going. Short coming of the pump you are looking at is the rotator sticks, this is what many on this forum and other reviews have indicated. You can accomplish a wave or current like action by placing 2 Nano Koralia opposite each other in the tank. 600 gph is a bit too much. I have a Koralia 1 in my 14 gal. Biocube and it produces a good amount of flow.

    I would think 620gph would be overkill for a 5 gal tank.

    Just my thought... Certainly not too small...

    That pump does not rotate plus you are going to find it is HUGE in a 5G tank
