Need help with an algea, and possibly an octopus?

    No, i'm using filtered water from my LFS.
    It's wierd though, i coulda swore i saw it pulsing like it was trying to breath or do something wierd.
    Do bristle starfish do anything of that nature?

    My LFS had a huge yellow one. at least the size of a 6 year old's hand

    Ok you guys im not joking, crazy, or on drugs.
    It IS an octopus.
    It crawled out just enough for me to see it before it hid back in its den.
    My camera is on the charger, then i will play guard intell i can a pic up.

    hahaha ok ok, we need proof Mister!;D does its have long tentacles with hair or little suckers on the bottom.

    I know this is a terrible picture, i WILL get a better 1 as soon as the thing crawls out..
    You can see it's kind've a different color.
    And you can see it's body.. sorta.
    And it has suckers on its tentacles close to it's body, and towards the tips they look like fuzz to me, or they're too small to see.
    Have any tips as to getting a good aquarium photo?

    hmm, set your dig. camara to Macro, usually the flower thing on it. It doesnt look like a starfish at all now that I see it. could also be some sort of crab.
    try putting some food and at the same time take a pic!

    I looked all over online and did some research.
    It seems awfull small for an octopus.
    So i screwed with my camera, and got it on close up but cant tune it any better. Ill get a friend over later with a better cam.
    I put a piece of silver side in there and it grabbed it and yanked it in the hole lol. This is the best pic i could get.

    That sounds like something an octopus would do. It could be a baby octopus, I have never heard of an octopus hitchhiker before though.
