So I accidentally posted in the t5 section, but does anyone know what bulb I should replace the power compact straight pin actinin 65w on my fixture?

The fixture looks similar to this (if not this) Amazon.com: Coralife 08609 Lunar Aqualight Compact Fluorescent Aquarium Lighting Fixture, 48-Inch: Pet Supplies

Some people on different forums say go higher than the 420nm from actinin to 450nm-460nm (I found a set of bulbs, posted it on the other thread in t5 that are 450nm 20-25 dollars for one, 40 dollars for two).

Also, does the brand matter much?

For the Moonlight LED, it has a plug like this http://www.mcmelectronics.com/content/productimages/s4/23-749.jpg

but it has no plug, adapter, or anything I can connect it to. Does anyone know what adapter I should look for or what I can do to have the moonlight LED?

I'm not familiar with this fixture, so I can't answer your question directly.

However, it's clear you're missing a DC adapter of some sort. That round plug (picture 2) is a DC plug. If you can find the specs on the DC adapter required (output voltage and amperage), you can replace it with any adapter that supplies the same voltage & current.
