    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    No does not hinder the growth, but they have a better chance to encrust to the rockwork if removed from plugs.

    Plugs are ugly and a pain to scape with and around. I curse the person that decided to market them. Live rock rubble was much better, it just did not fit in the frag rack right. :)
