For a tank that size, I would look for a used tank. Very tough to get the bonding of the panels right and that's a lot of water to let go on the floor. Plus the cost of the glass alone would probably more than a used tank, maybe even a new one. If you wanna build your own tank that size, look into a plywood tank with a glass viewing panel. I know there are some examples of that on here if you use the search. And I believe it was Horkn that did one recently.

    Best of luck

Check your local glass shops for prices. Google DIY glass aquarium to get some ideas. You will pay less than new I believe.

I don't think the resin is that pricey. I built my plywood/ epoxy/ glass hybrid 193 g tank for 400 dollars. The resin itself was only around 100 dollars.

I used top quality plywood, and you really don't need to. I used 3 sheets of the birch 3/4" that were 40 dollars each, so there is over a one quarter of the total tank cost.

The glass I have on mine was around 80 dollars IIRC.

The biggest this about my tank is that I know it is overbuilt, and I could have spent a bit less $$ on it and still had a nice tank that would hold with no issues.

All that overbuilding took a LOT of time, but I am very proud of my DIY inwall custom tank.
