Need help with ID for this skimmer

    Please help me. I don't know what kind of skimmer this is or anything about except that it goes in my sump.

    Hi, welcome to 3reef.

    I have no idea what brand.

    You can look at the vendor sites like MarineDepot...and see if there is a model that looks similar.

    Hopefully someone will come along that recognizes the make.

    It looks alot like an ASM.Is the pump inside the base? What kind if any pump came with it??

    Yea the pump is built into the base. I've tried to take the whole thing apart with no luck.

    It is an ASM Mini-G. I have a 65 gallon tank and this is rated for 75 gallons. Am I safe using this?

    I have 2 ASM skimmers g1x,g2. While they probably wouldn't win an award for efficiency they IMO are solid skimmers that don't require constant fiddling.As long as you can get it running correctly it should work just fine.Good luck.
