This is for a 20g tank 24" long. Want to keep your typical corals, softies, shrooms, zoo's, xenia...no sps or clams.

There are 2 lights we're looking at:

    Marine glo 2 x 24watts t5ho or

    aqualight 2 x 65 watts pc

which would provide more preferable lighting, I don't want to upgrade in the future so I am trying to make a good purchase first off.

    marine glo info:

Hagen Glo T5 High Output 24" Double Light Fixture.
The most advanced T5 light system yet! And they look great too.
Advanced engineering has gone into the highly polished aluminium reflector to direct as much light into the aquarium as possible.
includes mounting legs with adjustable heights
adjustable side mounts fit aquariums from 23-40" (58-101.5cm)
exceeds all North American electrical codes for water resistance

    coralife info:
    Coralife 24" 2X65 Watt Aqualight
2-65 watt Compact Fluorescent Lamps. One actinic and one 10,000K

    built-in ballast
    on/off switch
    sleek aluminum housing
    (7"W x 2.5"H)
    highly-polished reflector
    acrylic lens cover

    here are the pics.

There are better T5 fixtures than that one. If you had to choose one of these, go with the pcs, but be aware of overheating.

I'd go with the PC's in this case. I think 130w of PC lighting is better than 48w of T-5 lighting in this case. My only problem with PC bulbs is that they have to be replaced every 6-9 months.
