At 7, 8 and 9 inches the Bubbles go crazy, like constant overflow, even at the max opening of the gate valve.

Tried 5 inches with a slight angle on the pump where it meets the body to keep the pump submerged completely and it seems to be doing better, but the bubbles are still huge once they hit the neck.

In order to get it properly dialed in you need to make super fine adjustments and leave it alone for a day or so to see what kind of effect they have. If you keep tweaking it ever hour or so it will never settle back down.

I understand that, but I am not trying to get it dialed in, just trying to find a depth where the bubbles aren't the size of ping pong balls. Thanks though!:)

That skimmer has been nothing but a PIA. If I had that much problems with my SWC I would have thrown it out my window. But I truly do love my SWC. ;D

Oh yeah I know what you mean. You spent good money on that skimmer, definitely try to salvage it. I mean I made an gasket for my Two Little Fishes Reactor because it leaked like hell. Always good to save cash man, more money for Coral ;D

Yah, trying. Gonna have to call CoralVue because IMO something is majorly wrong. These bubbles after 6 hours now have basically gotten larger. Its inexplicable.

Appreciate the response. Actually got the issue resolved with CoralVue, turns out the advertised 6-10 inches was incorrect and it needs 4.5-5.5 max. Seems to be doing much better after the change.
