i am reading about how people make these 15000 gallon and 50000 gallon reefs and shark tanks and they have really sparked my interest (might do that instead of the 750) and i was emailing people and they said the skimmer was the most expensive part and i was wanting to check the price
does anybody know a site or thread link where skimmer for that size tanks are sold or have a price or could someone tell me how much they are (if there to much the ideals out the window)
    thank you

Hope you have a deep pocket book or a heck of a budget set up for this purchase. Largest one is $16k
    Deltec skimmers,

Isn't it a bit late to be changing the game plan now? Didn't you already tell us you had purchased your 750, skimmer, lights, water, etc? (and were going to have it set up by the end of the month?)

This is not a game of "who can build the largest tank!?"

Next I expect you will be telling us how you plan on bringing sharks back from Hawaii  ...:(

IMHO you have no idea of the costs, effort and knowledge to setup or maintain such a system. You really need professional help.

You sound a bit like either a 15 year old, exercising his fantasy's on the forum (really nothing wrong with that) - or a manic bi-polar 1, who needs to get to his Psyc to have his meds upgraded before he really does something dumb. - just guessing.

    Again IMHO, ;)

    Good Luck.

If I may, I think he's only stating that we are taking care of living creatures. You may very well be capable of this, but many aren't...they only have the $ to front and neither the time nor experience (or desire) to maintain the system correctly.

Returning a 750g though! Hope you gots a bigggg truck :)

Dave...im really not being mean when i say this but..........Get a clue of what your gonna do (nice ryme). A 15000 gallon setup is more than 1 person can handle. REALLY THINK OF THIS!!!!! starting a 750 is a good start but 15000. get real. im 14 and 55 gallons is just enough for me.. so that being said... please think this over cause fish are alive too and dont deserve to live in filth cause their owner can't handle the tank. Start slow, then know, then grow. Follow the steps. As my buddhist friend says. One who runs up the steps falls flat on their F***** A**.
