Well there is plenty of natural predators, but they dont just eat starfish. Triggers, Groupers, some butterflies and angels. Keep pulling them, and trade them in at the LFS. OR bring a bunch to me, and I'll give a toadstool frag, haha.

Do they look something like this?

If so...I am dealing with same problem...

See thread: "Who said these were harmless?"

I am picking up a pair of Harlequin shrimp in AM...am hoping they will help getting these little bas^%reds under control...they multiply like crazy, and I can only get to them when they are on glass. [IMG]

Will let you know how they work out.

Most of them are reef safe! That being said, as Omard stated, Harlequin Shrimp will take care of the problem initially, then the shrimp will need to be fed sea stars after that to keep them alive...they will consume the Asterina stars rather quickly!
