Sorry about the confusion, I was super tired lastnight.
Turns out I do have a few powerheads, a Hydor Koralia750 and a Marineland Max jet. Both are fully functional so that's great news. Also have a Emperor 280 filter. I looked into a RoDi filter, but I won't be able to buy that just yet lol (they go for 400$ in Canada).
In regards to the sand substrate, I ment for the main tank later :)

By the way, I've got a "column" tank? 20Lx18Wx30H and was wondering if it should have a specific setup due to its massive height..? Any suggestions would be great!

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Ahhh

    Great on the power heads.

Regarding substrate, some recommend placing the rock and then adding the substrate, less chance of the rocks shifting and falling, something you might want to consider.

I myself have added the aragonite and then the rock with no issues, but consider the height of your rock work and it's stability.

I think it's just a Rocktopus on the bottom right, maybe a goniopora skeleton full of debris in the holes.

My question though is what is that about bottom center looks whitish w/brown red spots. Looks like a half buried Goby

I just read about that too lol. Since my tank is super high, I think I'll go rocks, than sand.
I looked up goniopora and you're right on the money, Steve. As for the whitish red/brown spots, it is a half burried elongated hermit shell? The previous owner had a thing for shells >.<
