    I have a 225 gallon tank with fish and live rock only and was wondering what would be a good led light for it Thanks

    From my understanding, which is very little, fish don't really require light. So pretty anything u get will be fine. But if u plan to get coral in the future u may as well plan ahead and get good lights

    That is true you can use just about any light for fish only power compact are usually choice because they are cheap, if you'll want to go coral most common options are LED, t5 or medal halide.

    I have a 40 gallon For a coral tank. I also want to do something different with the lighting for the big tank so any ideas would be helpful

    Here's a idea for you. On your Big tank you can go VHO they range in length from 26inch to 72inch. to cover from end to end of your tank. Along with can grow "some" sps pending the wattage you put on it. Will also grow LPS and the family of softies.
