Hey evrebody got a quick question I sure there will be a lot of different answers though. What is the best way to dose your tank. I want easy, accurate, and consistent. This will be an SPS dominate tank. I use red sea test kits, will be upgrading to hannah checkers when they are gone. I use aqua vitro salinity for salt. thanks for your help!

I like using a doser using as many doses per day as the doser can handle accurately to keep alk and Ca as steady as possible.

dosing BRS cal, alk and mag... is IME, the easiest and lowest cost way to keep parameters in line. For very large tanks, ca reactors can end up cheaper but they are much tougher than people make it out to get them right and balanced. I have had mine for 6 months or so and it's still not running right.

that's a great idea. I am currently using the bubble magus doser to dose brs ca and alk. I have mag but it hardly ever needs to be added so I do that manually if it's low. It's set it and forget it. This is on a 120g tank. As stated larger tanks may benefit more from ca reactors.
