    i just checked my amona and its at 0.50 ppm i dont understand why its goin up only thing that died was2 snails nothin big for a 75 gallon tank what else would cause it to go up

    How old is the tank. Need more info. filters, water paras, feedings

    tank is 7weeks old nitrites 0 ppm nitrates 0 ppm ph 8.3 salt 1.024 im runnin a filter sock in my sump i change every week with a clean one runnin a burmuda skimmer o luna i just up the feeding to everyday instead of everyother day ill bet u that is what is causing it i didnt even think of that duh im so stupid but they clean it up pretty quick i dont know it probly is the feeding

    Yes I do, but my system is 9yrs old. My next set of Q's is how big is the tank, how many fish do you have, how much LR do you have, do you have any other type of filter?

    no other filters i have a 75 gallon about 55lbs of lr 40 lbs live sand 1 yellow tang 1yellowtaildamsel 1 pygmy angel 1 ocellaris clownfish 1 bangaii cardinal 1percula clownfish 1 yellow watchman goby 1 green chromis 1 sunburst anthias 1 blackocellaris clownfish 1 crabs and a bunch of coral

    thats alot of fish for a 75

    when you clean your filter bags do u use bleach?

    This is My opinion, you have way to much livestock for such a young system. You dont have enough LR and nor a good filter system. Your still might be cycling. You went way too fast adding things while you are still cycling. How did you add the livestock, what time period?

    well luna try tellin my wife that she wanted to get more fish today i was goin to kill here i told her we r maxed out but u cant tell them anything i did the math they say 3 gallons for every gallon if i do it that way with the sump im under but i still dont like to be on the edge what do u think i should do about the filter problem
