So i have a 46 gallon bow front reef and a 120 gallon XH reef, The 46 has 2, 150 corallife DE MH and the 120 has a 6 bulb tek light. Ive been thinking of taking my 46 down and moving everything into the 120 and redoing the 46 or another new tank (46 BF or 75 long) or selling the tank and stand and making a frag tank with the remains of my setup. The frag tank would just be a sumped 50 gallon rubbermaid into the sump i have on my 46 but with baffles and what not. Im stuck and want to hear what others would do. I have also thought about the cost of only having one tank compared to two and ill save alot of money but that extra money would just buy more corals :) the only thing that is stopping me is that the 46 is in my bed room and looks amazing and the 120 is amazing as well but is in the basement.

Taking care of two tanks is time consuming and im a perfectionist and takes me hours to clean the tanks so one might be better off as well.

First on is the 46 BF second is the 120 XH

If time is your issue, the easy answer is to combine the tanks into one. I wouldn't necessarily get a larger tank either, just keep the 120 and make it the best it can be. Frag tanks can be nice, but usually aren't needed.

    My opinions

    the 46 does look excellent
the 120 does have a lot of space in it, and looks like it could accomodate the corals from the 46 that you wanted to keep
could you move your bed to the basement and have the best of both worlds LOL?
