    In fact, I've got a little of everything... I put this piece of dead coral in 3 weeks ago and it had no color on it then.

    i got a nice piece of rubble that is 90% covered with deep red like yours :)

    :lol: it's cause it's India red coralline, Amcarrig :lol: I have it on my rocks too and used to think it was cyano, but I used the stuff to get rid of it and it won't go away and like Zubin said it's hard like the rock, not fuzzy!

    ive got loads of that stuff on some new rock i picked up from an estate sale... i almost like it more than the purple
