looks like a died colt coral to me. Is there any polyp extension when you feed you fish?

Were there any other like it at the LFS when you bought that one?

Could be either a colt of a finger leather? It is hard to tell, But I do have to agree with Jason I don't believe that is a natural coloration. and that it is a died coral. JMO ;) John ;)

I have a colt coral to and the texture and polyps are deferent than the colt, I visit the lfs about a month and 1/2 ago and they already had it, so if i is died the color is lasting, it is more extended right now and it doesn't swing like colt coral do w/ water movement. so my guess is a finger. :-/
Also as I'm typing this I turn to see my tank and I spot this little baby bristle worm or fireworm?

Yes and if you read the questions and answers at the bottom of the page the seller states that the corals are dyed.
and By looking at the picture in your last post and the one on Ebay I think your correct on the finger leather ..... John

It's definitly dyed! It'll either die or the dye will leach out over time and it'll return to it's natural color. If the deal seems to good to be true, well, it usually is IME, especially with corals.
