Hey ladies and gents I could use some help. my wife and I are expecting our first child the end of this month ( a little boy ) and are super excited ;D;D .she has had a pretty rough time these past 9 months ( one complication after another ) So I'm looking to get her some sort of gift ( push present as they call it ) and was just wondering what ideas you all may have. I would like to keep the cost around the $500 mark if possible but i am flexible. TIA everyone

A weekend spa stay for her after the baby is born. Just a day to be pampered and dotted on. No baby, just relaxing. That is if she can get away for a bit.

We're expecting our first in December and I've been thinking about the same thing. So I too would be interested in hearing what others have to say.

Well congrats and feel free to tag along.. I've been thinking on the spa thing, but I did that this past Christmas. Not that I can't again. Lol. I was also thinking of a nice pendant with the baby's birth stone on it..

Congrats on the future arrival! I did the pendant thing. I had a diamond from a previous ring of mine and my wife had a pendant with a single diamond so I took both diamonds and made them into a pendant along with my daughter's birth stone. Turned out great and my wife absoultly loved it.

What about a ring with three stones. One for each of your birthmonths.

definately do some sort of jewelry. I got my wife a really nice watch for baby number 1 and diamond stud earings for baby number 2. Set your budget and find something nice. I say jewelry, because I can tell you, after 9 years, every time my wife looks at her watch, and I am with her, she makes a comment about how much she loves it and it makes her think about our daughter.

Weird idea. How about a DNA pendant with your birth stones to commemorate the arrival and the link between you three.
