what extras would i need to monitor temp, ph, orp, control 6 lights, 4 powerheads...simulate lunar cycle and seasonal sunrise sunset and seasonal temp change?
whats the difference between hardwired or 10x control options? also, would i need extras for internet control/monitor?
    thanks, brian :)

My guess is Otty will chime in as he knows more then I do.. You will buy the Base ACIII then you will need to buy the probe for the PH, Temp, and ORP. If you want to run 6 lights you will need to buy expansion sockets (forget what they are called.) The lunar cycle is part of the package you just need to set it up to operate that way. Nothing will be needed for the internet that comes with the unit as well, it's just an IP address that you go to and control the unit..

Not sure what the difference is between the 10x and the hardwired.

I have the ACIII. I got it in December of last year and let me tell you, now that I have one I would never do without. The stuff you can do with it, it awesome. controlling my heaters with it, my temp rarely varys more then .3 to degrees a day. You will be able to have a live signature. In addition if you have a Blackberry or a phone with internet access you can actually log in and turn lights on or off if needed. While you should not have to do that if you are using a season table or code that turns things on and off. It's still a cool feature. Here is the code I am using...

If Time > 12:00 Then ACT ON
If Time > 22:31 Then ACT OFF
If Time > 15:00 Then MHL ON
If Time > 21:00 Then MHL OFF
If Time > 22:30 Then MLW ON
If Time > 23:01 Then MLW OFF
If Time > 23:00 Then MLB ON
If Time > 23:59 Then MLB OFF
If Time > 19:00 Then FUG ON
If Time > 07:00 Then FUG OFF
If Time > 01:00 Then PMP ON
    If Time > 01:00 Then HT1 ON
    If Time > 01:00 Then HT2 ON
If Time > 01:00 Then ALM OFF
If Temp > 82.0 Then MHL OFF
Max Change 090 M Then MHL OFF
If Temp > 83.0 Then ACT OFF
Max Change 060 M Then ACT OFF
If Power 000 Then MHL OFF
Max Change 020 M Then MHL OFF
    If Temp < 78.5 Then HT1 ON
    If Temp < 78.5 Then HT2 ON
    If Temp > 79.0 Then HT1 OFF
    If Temp > 79.0 Then HT2 OFF
    If Temp < 67.5 Then HT1 OFF
    If Temp < 67.5 Then HT2 OFF
If Temp < 77.5 Then ALM ON
If Temp > 81.5 Then ALM ON
If Power 000 Then ALM ON
If Time > 00:00 Then ALM OFF

and let me tell you Otty's is way more involved them mine. One of the things that I would like to set up and have not yet is the email functionality.. This allow you to send an email if a parameter is hit. IE if you tank get's too hot or cold you can send an email to your phone. Right now I'm just turning lights and heaters off if the temp gets too high..
