Need info on MH

I have made the decision to convert my t-5's to MH. I am going to convert my 75 community tank to a planted tank and use my t-5's on that. I want to use a dual ballast 400w retro. I am also going to build a new canopy to house them. I have a chiller and fans. I want to know about brands and bulbs from some of the experts. Please throw me some links and advice!!! TIA

Can't help you much..but I've heard awesome things about SPS bulbs from a few people on here..I plan on getting a 14k in a week or so.

Well I have a hamilton 150W clamp on..not what you're looking for at all but I have no complaints about the quality of the light. Especially for it being on the cheaper end of things. The "stock" 14k bulb looks really nice too. (assuming it's a hamilton)

 

Hamilton and Ice cap seem to be the most discussed around the web.

 

Really surprised no one else is saying anything...

 

I know...I thought there would be alot of input on this one!!

there are different schools of thought/ opinions on things like colour temp K etc
same as there is with T5 really
