Hello. I'm new on here. Been reading the 193 gallon plywood build and going some general research. I have some glass from a 37 tall gallon. What do you think about a 2 or 3 front window 6/8 foot plywood tank. I would use 2 ,or 3 for an eight, pieces of glass I have. These are 30" x 18". Will have wide sides and center(s). I have not found anything that looks like this but I see nothing wrong with it.

This design should be find. Will use the side glass 12" x 18" from a 29 gallon for small side windows. I have the glass and don't want to buy anything. I think its a good use for it.

I think 8' would be pushing it for the space I have to work with. I can buy some small side panels for the 6 foot design.

    Looking for some input.

Might want thicker glass for the size of the tank. Search for DIY glass aquarium, they should have a thickness guide to help you select glass.

The glass can always be changed to something that will work. Still in the planning stages.

I can get a soild piece of 3/8 20 x 70 plexiglass for about $70 plus shipping so my idea is almost mute. A multi window front would not look right until you have 3 windows. At 6 foot, 24" windows are too small I think. 3 30" would make a statement but I don't have the space for a 8 foot tank!

Had an idea for an angled front, flat front with 2 angled sides that meet the sides. Too many seems and I have a NICE stand I built for a 75 gallon. Will add a 2 foot extention in the center.

Will plan a soild front and 2 side windows. Will line the inside with 1/8 plexi. I thought about this and have read its been done. Basicly , build a plexiglass tank and adding the plywood for support.

Will get back with the part list and a first design
