But blues on 1, whites on 1, rest on the other;) make sure to adjust your drivers down for the blues and colors.

You are a little heavy on the whites, get rid of the neutral whites, then double all of the numbers, except for the reds and regular blues.

NO, you need to adjust the drivers because the whites are gonna run a 1500 mA max current, the blues at 1000mA and the colors at prob 700 I believe(double check that).

Are you using a controller? Chances are your gonna want to run the whites around 50-60%ish, and the rest around 70-90% IMO for a good color, but that will depend on what you like;)

i might just break down and forget doing the DIY and go reefbreeders. are the reefbreeders able to be controled by the reefangel?

Dude, thats almost 60 Cree leds for a 40 breeder;) DAMN

But i would tweak it a bit if you can, do like 6 CW and 2 NW, 8 RB, 2 blue and keep the rest the same IMO, I had about 60 over a 55G and ran the whites at 50%, the blues/colors at 75% and anymore starting bleaching everything;(

Not this, gonna screw up how to run the diff colors for each driver, pretty sure they max out at 14 leds per driver.

    I'd do:
    10RB
    4blue
    8 cw
    2 nw
then 2 of the colors each

I have half my tank on reefbreeders and half on Rapid now, both are awesome.
I love the reefbreeders but whats nice about DIY, is as tech improves and changes, its a TON easier to mod the rapid system. that being said, its really a tossup, IMO
