    What are you hoping to keep? There are lots of clip on MH that would do well if you are wanting to head that way.

    for sure need to know the dims, volume of water is not AS important once you add rock sand, etc-its dsiplacement.

    What you need to be able to answer is what type of livestock are you wanting to support-That is the real question, after that gets answerd you'll see why its first. with SO many lights PC, MH, T5, VHO, there are so many apps each light good inits proper use.

    Bunch of noise I understand but its the 'why' we ask;D

    i have a clip on MH light on my 30 gal (ok 29 but still...). its a k-2 viper and i love it! (so do my corals) it is relatively inexpensive but i got mine for 125 on sale. they are 217 regularly on drs foster and smith web site. it is also kinda nice looling.

    Im planning to keep some corals. But thats gonna be awhile after treating my fishes from ich. You know anything?

    If you treated with copper in that tank where you want corals thats pretty much a no go.

    or if your tank is like my 30 gallon its 36" and I have an aquatic life 36" t5ho 4 lamp.. its pretty sweet and grows my Acropora..
