First saltwater tank. 75 gal and im looking for lights. planning on a FOWLR for now but starting a reef later on. What are your suggestions for lights? trying to stay under $260. I would probably have mostly softies, maybe an anemone or 2 and mushrooms. Suggestions??

Would reef strong lights be a problem for a FOWLR if i bought them now?

This is the fixture I would recomend. Current makes a quality fixture. They have individual reflectors and descent bulbs. The bulbs can be switched out to achieve diffent color combos suited to your liking. The built in fan is nice also. I run this fixture on my 55g and love it. Look, I even saved you .5 cents!

As far as a FOWLR goes I don't think lighting matters. Your fish won't mind at all.

yes it will be fine for a FOWLR... or if you add inverts and such it will be fine.
When you decide to add a few corals it will still be okay. You probably cant keep EVERYTHING but you will be able to keep all the basics, and lots of LPS, just not a lot of sps

here is a good setup that would be nice for you they are a 2 bulb t5 fixture but you can link them together up to 3 of them to become one fixture so if you ever decide u want to get into sps later on you have the option to add on and increase your lighting AquaticLife LLC | Live It Today! I personally have never heard of the light you have posted and would recomend not using an off brand. Lighting, along with a skimmer are things you should not skimp on. There are other ways to save money. Using base rock and seeding it with LR and building your own sump just to name a few. But, I would always buy a quality skimmer and qaulity lighting.
