If you let us know more on what you plan on keeping and your budget we can help point you in the correct direction.

i apologize for the assumption but it sounds as though you need a little direction and that you are new to reefkeeping. if you are relatively new to the hobby, you are going to want to take your time without putting a huge hole in your wallet (you may change your mind about the hobby, you never know). it sounds like you have a standard 10 gallon (correct me if i'm wrong) and without busting your wallet, you may want to take the power compact route. here is my suggestion:

Compact Fluorescent Aquarium Lighting: Dual Satellite Compact Fluorescent Fixtures

it's obviously the 20" i'm pointing you to and at $100 you can't go wrong. it offers a 6700K and 10000K daylight bulb, actinics and a moonlight. you'll have two switches controlling the two 40 watt bulbs and a moonlight on a seperate adaptor. grab yourself a decent dual 24 hour timer and you'll have your "sun and moon" :) .

    i hope that helps,
    jonathan

Replacement bulbs can be bought at the same link above at foster's and smith and various other on line stores. Check out www.marinedepot.com
    They sell a 20" corallife 96w 50/50 fixture for $89.
