I need more flow in my 90g tank. I have nowhere near enough flow. I am just running a coralife 790 pump thru my tank and I also used a t to tank a small amount 20 to 40 gal a hour thru refugium. How to do this?
    1. add larger pump.
    2. add a couple of Korillias ( I think they are ugly, sorry korilla lovers)
    3. Tear down tank and drill for closed loop then add bigger pump.(newbe hind site.)
    4. Buy new tank( bigger, drilled for closed loops) WAy expensive and bad time to do this.
    5. you tell me.

Am assuming that your tank isnt drilled. If it isnt, your return pump(RP) has to match the gph rate as your over-flow box. I also have a 90g(drilled) and I have a Magdrive 18, which is 1800 gph rate. Luna

no it is not drilled. newbe mistake I wish it was. any way is that your only movement in tank. I have skimmer pump and filter pump in sump that add flow but no where near what I want. How would I find out over flow box rate? I have a 90 g All Glass Aquarium. over flow is about 8" off of center is this the same tank as yours? are you happy with your flow? This would be an easy fix if it will work.

I dont remember the exact flow rate, but if memory serves me right, a 1" tube/hose has a rate of 600gph.
I have about 3' of spray bars attached to my RP and I love the flow it produces. I dont like having PH's in the main tank, it clutters the tank and view. I have an all glass drilled 90g corner(left-side) mega-flow tank. What do you have as an overflow? Some pics would be great. Luna

I know this is the right way. I just keep telling myself to be happy with what you got. 4 means new skimmer new stand more sand. Because 4 is new 260 gallon build thread.8) I have already been pricing this! How did I know this was going to be your thoughts Otty.;)
