    pic of new fish

so after loosing some hair yesterday and talking to the wife, i decided on a juvi hippo tang . i had went to the LFS and came home like 3 times last night. lol. i got there hoping to find only one fish on my list but the had them all!! white cheek, powder browns$blues, mimics, coral beautys, flame angels,.yellows and hippos, so after weighing the pros and cons of each fish, and there health, i decided to go with the juvi hippo,

i was dead set on a coral beauty when i went in but i was watching him swim and i seen him go over and nip a coco worm in the tank.so i was like no way, cant do it. so i went back to the tangs, i decided to go with the hippo because..

    1) powder brown, and white cheek was very thin,
2)not a huge fan of yellows
3)color will stay with age.(color is unbeatable)
4)dwarf angels may nip my corals, too much risk in my eyes.
    5) biggest reason my wifey said i can get a new tank when we move out of my apartment in march!!!;Dand any tang is gonna get big eventully.

so i added the tang last night, lights were still on, not the way i would have like but eh.

he instantly went to my poccilliapora, and hovered over it. and i noticed the weirdest thing my other fish, sixline included barley noticed him. they swam right by him, and gave him a lil head nod.

this is odd cause when i added my mandarin my sixline went ape sh!#.

he seems to be enjoying the current, and seems very used to people.
i have not seen him take any dried algae, but he is def loving the cyclopseze.

and if you read all this you get a pic. how does he/she look.?

Looks great! Beautiful fish, congrats!! I bought a small one a while back and he got stressed bad after a 6 hour car ride and 12+ hours with no power during the flood. He didn't make it but I look forward to getting another one! Great choice

well last night he/she pretty much settled in.the hippo stopped swimming the glass and all the fish really have taken to the new hippo. all were eating together in a big group, and swimming closely with no aggression. the tang freaks over cyclopseze, and no signs of any scratching or nothin. i feel really good about my decision so far.
