so i scored some generic chinese 120w led fixtures from a local reefer for my 100g. i will be getting 2 of them with plans to add a 3rd at some point if coverage isnt what i want.
now the question is how to hang these. i currently have 2 adjustable hangers that my t5s hang from and i would like to hang the leds from this. i was thinking maybe a peice of pvc painted black to hang and then the leds would mount to that? Another idea would be to connect the leds with a 2 peices of alluminum to make it almost like 1 fixture and then hang that. weight is kind of a issue so i would have to keep it somewhat light. any ideas?
oh also i think someone on here has 2 120w fixtures over a 6ft tank, so if they read this post a pic so i can see coverage ;D

I should be receiving some this week also. I have painted and sanded a board that I plan on mounting on the wall by screwing into the studs. I bought some plant hangers to then screw into the board. It actually looks really good and hardly costed me anything.

I have not mounted it yet because I don't know how far up I will need it to go. I will post some pics when I get it up there though. Not sure how much spread I will get with the 120 optics from reefbreeders.

Unfortunately I cant mount anything on the wall behind the tank because there is a window. It has to hang from the ceiling. But i'de like to see pics anyways lol

I do have an open tope canopy I use, to eliminate the light scatter fro the the top. It easy removes for reaching in.

built a big 'H', that rests on the floor behing the stand- simple and easy out of 2x4's i had already, and use some closet shelf hangers to hang the lights from, cheap, wasy, reliable
