In a bit of a predicament here. I have a 55 gallon tank, with 4x54w t5s being overdriven by an icecap ballast. I am getting pretty good responses from all of my corals but I can only seem to raise zoas about halfway up the tank without getting bleached out. Also seems to have a lot more current going around up there than the rest of the tank to keep the LPS corals happy below. I was thinking of maybe adding a few SPS frags to the top for high light and flow rates but I don't really know where to start as far as what to look for for a beginner sps keeper. Running GFO and just starting to use 2 part from brs.

    Any suggestions?

Montipora. As long as they have flow and light they can live IME.

+1 on Montipora being a good 1st SPS,
Montipora capricorna, Montipora spongodes, Montipora digitatta, Montipora confusa
are all species that have thrived for me as a beginner SPS keeper

additionally, any SPS frags you can get, will probably do well in the conditions you described above

I would just stay away from any wild collected colonies, as IME they are more likely to have issues than corals that have been fragged from someone else captive system
