    how hot was it? how long had they gone w/o water? how long were they by themselves for? dogs just don't up and die. im a vet tech by profession and i am very sorry for your loss. but it just sounds like it was preventable.

    I am sorry for your loss, our dogs have replaced or kids since they moved out it would be hard to lose one.
