how long do you run your lights? Any contact with natural sunlight (window, sliding glass doors, etc.)?

Tanks still cycling. Make sure that your using good RO water and it will work itself out over the next few months.

you have to make sure that the water you are using for top-off and water changes is free of silicates and phosphates, once you determine that's not the source you have to look at your feeding habits (are you over feeding), the types of food being used to feed, (a lot of frozen foods are loaded with P04...juices produced when it melts... that should be rinsed away before adding to the tank) What is the size of your bio-load (how many fish do you have compared to size of tank) are you running GFO and Carbon? There are several factos that have to be examined and then eliminated in order to find the source of your problem. Unless your system is totally low nutrient you will experience algae on the glass and unwanted algae in filters, powerheads, ect. If you really want no algae what-so-ever you have to start at square one which is source water and the go from there, working your way down to the source of P04 or silicates

lol btw, there will always be a fine fine film algae that develops on the glass, get a mag float and use it to clean the glass every second day or as needed.
