need some help with lighting

    need some help i have a 125gl a im going to put some new lights on it and need some hlep with would be better Metal Halide Retro 3X 250 or Metal Halide Retro 3X 175 with 14k bulbs in them i do have Corals and fish

    Me I would go with the 250, especially for that size tank.

    What type of corals?

    250s will allow for SPS all the way to the sandbed. If you are running mostly softies, leathers and LPS, then the 175s might work.

    agreed - with a 6' long tank you will want the coverage of three halides.

    i dont know yet its between the 10k 250w or a 14k 250w
