I am adding a 15 gallon fuge to my setup. There is 10 gallons of new water in the fuge already and close to 5 extra gallons of water in my sump.

    Current Parameters in DT are:

    Calcium 440
    dKH 10.6
    Magnesium 1350

    Normal Saltwater Mix Parameters are:

    Calcium 480
    dKH 8.5
    Magnesium 1260

I mixed the new water inside of my fuge and added some dKH buffer but apparently I have added too much the parameters are as follows:

    Calcium 370
    dKH 16+
    Magnesium 1280

    My ideal parameters are:

    Calcium 460
    dKH 12.5
    Magnesium 1390

Now how do I fix my new saltwater before adding it to my full system? I cannot just add it and let it mix in hoping my dKH only raises to around 12.8?

Can I adjust the parameters in the water in the fuge tank before adding it to my tank? How do I do so?

    Thanks.

I would try dosing calcium in the fuge to increase if by 80ppm ( before its connected to the DT, and as such you could dose this in 1 go, as there is nothing to harm by doing so)

if you increase the Calcium by 80ppm , with the current mag level, that could cause up to 4 degrees of DKH drop, so from 16+ to 12+ which is your target

the new readings , should then be
    Mag 1390, Calc 450 and DKH 12+
