I have a 18K T5 single light which I am planning on using on my 72 gallon bow front tank. I came across these coralife lights on ebay and seem to be a great deal minus the bulbs. Can I use both the T5 ligh and these coralife lights together or just get another T5 light to use?

    advise would be greatly appriciated.

I plan on the time being just keeping live rock, live sand, fish and eventually getting into some easier to care for soft corals inthe futuer after I get a solid understanding of the fish and live rock first.

Thanks.... the same guy has about 6 auctions for these lights.

So I would be able to use this light with mine next to each other with no real issues such as over heating, etc....

Probably not. It won't look great, but it should work fine.

Can't say it won't overheat until you try. Probably won't is my guess. It's the same as having 1 larger lighting unit over your tank.
EDIT:My mh lighting keeps my tank @ 82. I set my heater for 80.

I had a nova extreme that I ripped apart to retrofit it into my canopy... I kept the ballast, reflector, the bulbs, and discarded the casing. I did away with the casing because i wanted more airflow and so that it would be customizable... The wiring is the hardest part, and its not that tough... Just some food for thought...

EDIT: At a second look, it has built in fans... I think it will have a wider range of light penetration if the casing wasn't limiting it...
