well as some of you may have known, i lost my favorite fish due to a sickness that took hm overnight ( angel fish gt sick, then he got ick, ugh lost thm both).

so, im wondering what i really want to put in this 55 gallon aquarium, here are the specs.

    55 gal
    55 lbs live rock
    75 lbs sand
    set up for 4 months
    serpent star
    rock urchin
    11 mangroves

as of right no im working out som kinks with water quality, and will NOT buy any fish until it has been worked out and solved for good (RO/DI should be ere next week).

im lookingfor some fish that are colorful and move, but are also semi to moderately aggressive. if it is only 1-3 fish in the total tank, im ok with that. the number of fish doesnt matter, its the movement.

ive looked at just having a huma huma trigger
looked at a lunar wrasse also.

any ideas? sorry for th long post. to sum it up....agressive pretty fish, 1-3 total.

I have a few questions..then I can come up with a few fish for you. :)

-Is this a reef(I hope not. lol) or is it a FOWLR? For now I will assume it to be FOWLR, sinse you didn't mention any extras on your tank specs.

-Remember that if you have a Hum huma, unless by itself, it will need a bigger tank in a year or so.

-What's your budget on fish? Live Aquaria has some pretty cool fish that would work in your situation.

So here's what I was thinking. I'll gove you some options of 4-5 fish that would be compatible & you can pick 2-3 for your specific tank.

    Lyertail Hogfish

Really you could go with any Angler

Most damsels/cardinals would work too & some wrasses.

blue spot puffer! VERY colorful, aggresive as are all puffers. not sure about movement though. marine betta would be sweet except they dont move that much
