I would like to purchase a stand for my 40gal breeder tank. I have looked at both of these

They are both relatively the same size and price. $250
    Than i found this one
    [IMG] for $100
I was wondering if any others have 40gal breeder tanks with stands that they could recommend me?

    there all nice units Crusty

but its access thats key for me

if you look at the second one down, there does not seem to be a central support
and thats ideal if you want a sump/ fuge in the future

the bottom one with 3 doors - you may find that it has 2 vertical supports inside the cabinet running from front to back , great for storage, but no use if you want to put a sump in there later ( as taking these out, may compromise the structure of the cabinet and you dont want that, IMO)

So if you want to purchase rather than build
look at how they are constructed ( ideal would be no central supports from front to back and doors that both open outwards from right, left sides - giving you full access to the inside of the cabinet and plenty of room to get sump/ fuge/ skimmer/ reactor etc in there
a cabinet with front doors and 1 door on the end of one side is also great, as the sump can be slid in from the end if it wont go between the front doors

    aesthetics is imporant
    practicality is also worth considering
