I am looking for an anenome for my tank. I am lookin for somthing with long tentacles. White. Reef safe. Preferrably moderately aggressive. I have a 36 gallon tank. So cant be to big.

    Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I haven't had any luck with anenome's but if I were going to put one in a tank I'd do it where the hosting clown is in the tank at the LFS so you know they are compatible.
I have 2 percula clowns that were tank raised instead of being from the wild and they didn't want anything to do with an anenome. The anenome your looking for is a hard one to keep. It's called a Seabae Anenome and I had one that roamed all over and ended up behind the reef which is not where you want him. I have heard that when an amemome dies it gives off a toxic cloud so I took half my reef apart to get him out. Back to the store he went. Just my input..

Yeah, Sabae's are the only whiteish ones that I can think of and are definitely not for a novice. If your tank is over a year old, you have adequate lighting, good levels, and have done your research, I would start with a bubble tip. They come in different colors so you should be able to find one you like.

Anemones will sting anything, doesn't matter what kind. They're only reef safe when they've found a spot they like and stop moving.

White bta anemone is considered not healthy and stressed. It will color up if it is healthy. Also it is not reef-safe IME. It will most likely kill your coral when it moves. Even if it stops moving, it can still kill your fish.

Actually what we are all saying is they can be put in a dedicated tank. Look at where they are in the LFS? Usually they are all by themselves with a clown. That's probably the best idea.
