Yes I know it is probably impossible to cycle in two days but this is the only time I could get these from this guy so I need any tips on how to do this. I have put some amphipods and copepods in there as well as some microstars and brittle stars. Used sand and water from a 2 year old tank. I feel like an idiot right now so dont tell me how this isn't going to work. the tank is 2.5 gallons. I also put in various macroalgaes. I am running phosorb and normal carbon. please help!!!:-[

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Move some rock from a running tank if possible.

You are not the first to try this, I did once as well but that was before there were forums. I did not succeed.

Small frequent water changes and some cured live rock. Strict testing for ammonia and nitrites.

Best case is having them hold the Sea Horses until the tank is cycled.

Get any bottled bacteria you can such as MB7 or Dr. Tims.

    Good luck.

yeah this is your best bet, ALTHOUGH, moving LR from an established tank to a dwarf tank can be a nightmare, hydroids and other hitchhikers KILL dwarves easy, so thats an issue. I'd just use dry rock and sand and do alot of WCs

But the sand may be ok, although not ideal either. I'd use the MB7 or Dr. Tims and just get WCs ready, which will be a 1/2G a day on that tank with that small of a bioload, plus your water for hatching BBS. 5G of made water at 1.020 should last you a week+ easy.
