I can't get close enough with my camera but this is my best drawing I could show you. Both my clowns seem to have tiny holes in their white band near their heads.

Another symptom is stringy white poop and the darker of my clowns rubs his head against the crushed coral at the bottom.

How should I treat this? Can I treat for this and ich at the same time just incase they have both? I really need some help please.

from your description it kinda looks like ick ive never treated for ick before but i think as long as you dont have any inverts in your tank you can treat your tank directly otherwise a hospital tank is recommended. Are the fish new? if so it just could be the stress. and usually the symptoms leave once the fish gets comfortable. Also id leave him alone if there still eating because moving the fish will only cause them more stress. good luck

I am thinking it is ick...ick itches the fish and they will often rub themself against rocks and sand.

Are the fish eating? I personally would not treat the fish. Make sure your water parems are good, feed a good quality food that contains vitamins and fatty acids, and add some garlic to the food. You can add a cleaner shrimp to help.

I have one cleaner shrimp right now but I think the clowns are afraid of it.

I don't know if this helps but I ran a blue LED light hat comes on key covers in my tank after lights out, I was looking at how cool my brain looked when I showed the light on it, when I turned it on my clown. The one that I think is sick had this white stuff all over its mouth/head area and gill area while the one I think is healthy had no white glow to it in those areas. It was like this on both sides of the fish.

Hope this helps with what it might be. I couldn't get a good pic of the different white color on the sick clown sorry.

Whether it's hole in the head or ich can be pretty easily discerned visibly. If it's hole in the head, the lacerations will appear as divots--in other words they will be holes or missing tissue--cavities in the flesh.

If it's ich, they will appear as spots; usually raised, or like a pimple, protruding from the flesh.

In this respect, how does it appear?

They do not have white pimple like bumps but they do have small holes that look like someone took a pin and punched holes in their heads. The one has completely stopped eating now.

It seems like this is it yet its not that huge at all and it is not a white hole because it is on their white stripe around their heads. I think I am going to try and get the supplements and soak the food in it that they talk about above.

The thing is the sickest one is not eating anymore. What to do? I started soaking their foods in Garlic and tried feeding three times today, in very little amounts. Once with some Mysis, then some Mysis with some garlic soaking, and finally some brine with flakes and garlic soaking. the one clown ate like crazy while the sicker one didn't even act like I was doing anything to the tank at all.

    Any advice?
