    i been thinking about running outside air to my skimmer, but haven't figured out how. i'm worried about something polluting the tank water. have you ever thought about doing that?

    Those paras wouldnt work with softies. I overdosed once with Alk/Dkh and all my mushrooms, xenais, zoas, yellow polyps and ricordias either shriveled(sp) or died with a couple of weeks. Luna

    I have a Coralife luft air pump like this one...[​IMG]
    outside with four air tubes injecting outside fresh air into my system. For the most part, it keeps my ph stable at 8.0, even at night. What also kills ph levels is filter pads, esp. felt filter pads. Luna

    thats excatly what i do, there is an air line going into the attic with a pump to the skimmer
