Need to Vent - Food Poisoning Is Evil

I am so disappointed!! My LFS is having a huge sale this weekend (Friday and Saturday) in the evening hours only - it's called a Twilight Sale. Anyway, I was going to get my new larger tank, stand, etc. and I was soooo excited - practically counting down the days.

But here is the bad news!! Yesterday I had food poisoning and couldn't leave my bed and tonight I have a Christmas party to go to. So I CAN'T get the tank and all the goodies!!

Ahhhh I'm so mad!

Sorry to hear that, Would Your lfs if you called hold something for you for that price and let them know your ill, otherwise would come in to get it? Would be nice of them if they know you and your a regular!

Check craigslist, there are always cheap deals on tanks there.

 

Thanks. I'm thinking about calling them and seeing what they'll do. I have given them a lotta money!!

My wallet really hopes they will let me buy something over the phone, too.

 

Yeah, unfortunately I am still feeling incredibly horrible...however I am able to stand for about 10 minutes at a time...so I will party!!

Plus, everyone is anxiously awaiting my famous red velvet cupcakes with white chocolate peppermint icing!!

Oh man. I will never eat fried cod, onion rings, or drink a Mai Tai ever again. I got food poisoning from fried cod several years ago and that was the sickest I've ever been. Sorry to hear!

 

It's horrible! And the timing was the worst! Helloooo - fish store sale and Christmas party!! C'mon!
