still trying to figure out how to take macro shots with the camera [kodak z1012] if anyone has this camera and would like to let me know how to take good pictures with it and what to put the setting to when taking macro shots please let me know lol.

    ID#1:
in the dead center of the picture, this looks exactly how it is in the pic as the same as when i look at it with my own eyes [talking about the coloring of it]

here is a picture with the actinics on, when actinics and moonlights are on, its center glows a neon orange, and the other bubbles[tentacle things??] on it glow a bright yellow. this is about half the size of a dime, and there are two more that are much smaller than this one that i cant get a good picture of.

here is a picture with the moonlights, it glows a lot brighter with the moonlights than it does when the actinics are on, still the picture doesnt show how bright it is, but i hope you get the idea lol

at first i thought these were tiny aiptasia popping up all over the rock in various places, because we have one large one that i haven't killed yet. Then i noticed a ring around the center of them on the top glows a bright neon green when the actinics and moonlights are on, and this doesnt happen on the actual aiptasia that we do have so it cant be that.

1st one looks like some kind of polyp, maybe a zoanthid...? kind of hard to tell. 2nd one is hydroids, which are bad and really hard to get rid of.

Yes.... Hydroids.... Remove them... if you have acoral close by they will sting the tar out of it... Along with that they will take over rather fast in the corect envoirment...

If you can just remove the rock and scrub it down with a stiff bristle brush... And becareful you dont get that Gunk in your eye...

    Good Luck..!!!
