Need ultra quiet pump

    I have a GenX PCX 70 external pump on my 150. The pump works fine but is a little too noisy. I have put up with it for a long time but I want to see if I can find something quieter. My tank is close to the tv room so I have to put the volume up. Any suggestions? I'd really like to stay with an external pump. I think I can fit a submersable in the return chamber but it depends on the size. The pump needs to be 1200-1500 gph. Thanks

    A Mag 18 is not noisy and could be run external.

    I run an inline Little Giant pump. It's fairly quiet.

    I bought a monkey that sits there and squeezes a little hand pump. Very quiet, but dirty as heck.

    I had a genx40 very noisy. I got a panworld but they're not the quietest either. I hear reeflo are good.
