Hey everyone, I am looking to make me and my girlfriends vacation as great as possible with lots of memories but I am not completely sure on what there is to do in florida. We don't want to go to any theme parks because if we did we would just go to cedar point. So far on the agenda we have snorkeling and shopping guess which idea was mine lol. I was also looking into deep sea fishing like on a charter boat but I cant afford to pay like 500 just for me. Is there any charters near west palm beach that is credible as well as inexpensive, I am looking to catch some really nice fish. Also was wondering if there was any sight seeing aquariums like really really huuuuuge ones for tourists. Was wondering if I bought something from a fish store in florida how would I get it back home to michigan fish and coral wise? Lastly are ricordeas cheaper in florida lol?

The Florida aquarium is in Tampa Bay...which is a pretty good drive from West Palm...but a very nice aquarium. There are tons of charter boats all over the coasts of Florida. There are also quite a few Indian Casinos down in South Florida if that is your thing.

Jetski's are a whole lot of fun for two people: West Palm Beach Jet Ski Rentals - Craig Cat Rentals - Boat Rentals - West Palm Beach.com

Add scuba to your snorkeling adventure plans. If you are not certified contact your hotel and see if they offer a hotel course – generally takes a couple hours then you go dive…..it’s safe for the dive you will go on. Book it ahead of time and surprise her – make sure its refundable incase its not her thing, no one should dive if they are not comfortable with it.

    There’s probably a zoo – google it,

Lion country safari is cool. If I were you, I would head down to Key Largo and snorkel in one of the state parks. I recently did a scuba dive there and it was absolutely beautiful. Tons of tangs and wrasses!

about taking the corals home... some airlines will consider them live animals so idk if you will be able to bring them on the flight (ask the airline while your there)
otherwise, you can pack them up and ship them back to your house (ups, fedex, usps)

+1 on shipping them back home ! Go to the fish store with a box and have them pack them for shipping - then over night it home --- obviously do this the day before you go home. Might want to buy during the week and tell the store you will be back on x day to get them. good luck with the purchase.
