need water and cant get rodi

    Can I use zepherhills or any type of bottled water just to add a gallon or two It's a reef

    I would use distilled water

    You would be better off using distilled over bottled water.

    Do you have LFS? some of them sell ro, or rodi water by the gallon. I did this for awhile until i got my unit.

    oh, I see. Then you will just need to get distilled water since its urgent.

    The problem with bottled is they add minerals back into it to enhance flavor. And you dont know what they add, so its better to use distilled.

    I use distilled water if I get in a jam. It isn't bad these days. Years ago though they used copper systems to steam purify the water. Due to operating costs most use reverse osmosis these days. Make sure it says reverse osmosis if you check the label. I used the walmart brand when I had to.
