Ok guys so I am trying to make my life easier while doing waterchanges and the simplest solution for now seems to be to get a pump where I can stick in the DT for a minute or so to pump out about roughly 10 gallons of water...

Then I'd like to stick it in the new batch of saltwater I've made so I can pump it back in...

Any suggestions on which pump I should get?

For small volumes, any pump that fits would really do.

We use the little giant manual utility submersible pumps @ Reef Playground. They're great for mixing water and for water changes. But that may be a lil strong for you.

The pump will basically need enough force to pump water from ground level to top of display tank which is roughly about 4-5 foot level... Don't know how big of a role that would play in choosing which one I need.

I have an extra 1150 aqueon powerhead I use to mix my saltwater

Any of those pumps I linked will be fine in larger versions to deal with the 5 foot lift

Thanks Vizzle again... Went w/the Eheim 600 just to be on the safe side.

Yay No more buckets! (atleast 1 by 1 pouring it into the tank)

I use a MJ1200 powerhead with a piece of vinyl tubing stretched over the outlet nipple, works great and most people have one laying around already.

The good ol' maxi jet. Still the most reliable pumps every made, IMO.
